The common perception of Syaria equity investment is: safety and low risk. But is it true?

The fact is from 2001 – 2009, Syaria equity investment (which we use Jakarta Islamic Index/JII as proxy) 70% gave outperform return compared to the conventional one (Jakarta Composite Index/JCI). Indonesia Economic Cycle

A few days ago I’ve just found an interesting stuff from Google. It was Google Public Data! I was very delighted that finally someone made people easy to access the economic data. I found myself hard to collect those historical data before, especially when I need to make some analysis work.
